DESCRIPTION: \nThe Department of Neuroscience of Bambino Gesù Children’s
  Hospital\n– IRCCS\, Rome – Italy with the endorsement of the Internat
 ional\nLeague Against Epilepsy EUROPE\, and Italian Chapter of ILAE (Lega\
 nItaliana contro l’Epilessia – LICE) is presenting the educational\nin
 itiative – “Drug Resistant Epilepsies – Residential\nInternational C
 ourse” that will take place in Tagliacozzo (AQ) in\nthe surroundings of 
 Rome. It is given in English.\n\nThis course is clinically - oriented\, ta
 rgeted to specialists at the\nsecond and third level of epilepsy care and 
 focused on comprehensive\naspects of diagnosis and treatment of children a
 nd adults with\nepilepsy. It also includes the basic sciences in clinical 
 epileptology\nissues and comprehensive care and rehabilitation of patients
  with\nepilepsy.\n\nThe faculty consists of leading European epileptologis
 ts. The faculty\nmembers give lectures on the clinically relevant aspects 
 on\nepileptology and conduct interactive case discussions and/or tutorials
 \non different topics. The working groups are supposed to be an integral\n
 part of the course.Didactic cases provided by tutors and case reports\npre
 pared by participants are planned to be discussed in small group of\nparti
 cipants. Specialists in neurology\, psychiatry\, neuropsychiatry\,\npaedia
 tric neurology\, paediatrics\, clinical neurophysiology and\npsychology ar
 e welcome to apply.\n\nThe course is limited to a maximum of 40 applicants
  to allow an\noptimal level of interaction with the faculty members. Appli
 cants\nshould submit together with the application form\, an updated CV\, 
 a\nshort abstract with a case report to be discussed during the course\,\n
 and a recommendation letter signed by his-her head of department or\nhead 
 of research lab.\n\nREGISTRATION FEE: 1000 Euro + VAT. It includes accommo
 dation (in twin\nroom)\, full board and access to all the educational acti
 vities\n(lectures\, tutorials\, case discussions\, working groups\, return
